The purpose of the app was to connect the physical device with a companion app for user friendly spirometer testing, results, training load management and medication management. Throughout this process, extensive user testing was conducted including a final test phase which had a 90/100 score on the SUS.
A brief look at some of the ideation I completed in my low-fidelity wireframes for the main home screen pages.
Created some mid-fidelity wireframes and use these for extensive user testing.
Onboarding allowed easy collection of physical profile data as well as connection to the device.
Main tabs allow the user to review recent respiratory events, start a test, and analyze longitudinal trends. There's also the option to add in medications and view the change in performance based on medications. The user can also set up an asthma passport, which allows them to have all their health data in one area.
