The outcome of this project was an antimicrobial computer mouse that utilised the natural antimicrobial properties of copper.
Following on from my prior research I decided to settle upon a computer mouse as it had the highest contact rate of a surface in an office as well as its continual use throughout the day.
I used my ideation sketches to build different physical models with extensive user feedback throughout the process. I used a wide variety of people working in offices to test my prototypes, the main feedback was people wanted a strong arch from front to back as well as USB-C charging in a convenient location.
Using Blender I was able to develop many scenes as this would enable me to perfect the final colour and finish.
